Jeetack 1548 Information
Jeetavim 1548 is a tackifier-cum-viscosity improver formulated from olefin copolymer and polyisobutylene. It enhances lubricant viscosity, tack, and stringiness, providing improved water spray-off resistance in demanding applications. Suitable for industrial lubricants and greases, it is commonly used in wire-rope lubricants, rail curve greases, rock drill oils, cable jelly, open gear oils, and other heavy-duty formulations. The recommended treat rate is 2–3% by weight.
This hazy, viscous liquid offers a kinematic viscosity of 4800–5600 cSt at 100 °C, a density of 0.83–0.91 kg/L, and a flash point of about 170 °C. Jeetavim 1548 is non-hazardous, non-toxic, and easily blended using conventional equipment, ideally at around 70 °C. It is supplied in 175-kg mild steel barrels and should be stored below 50 °C under normal petroleum-additive handling conditions.

Storage & Handling
Normal storage conditions for any petroleum additive are advisable for storing Jeetavim 1548. Maximum storage temperature should not exceed 50°C.
Blending
Jeetavim 1548 can be blended using conventional blending equipments. It will be ideal if the blending temperature is maintained at 70°C.
Hazard/Toxicity
The product is non hazardous and non toxic. Normal handing precautions as in the case of any petroleum additive is advisable.
