Jeevim 253018 is a viscosity index improver formulated from olefin copolymer blended in base oil. It is designed for automotive engine oil formulations, providing excellent viscosity control and maintaining lubricant consistency across extreme temperature conditions. With high shear stability (SSI 24), it helps ensure dependable engine performance and protection. The recommended treat rate is 3–5% by weight, depending on the required viscosity profile.
This highly viscous liquid features a kinematic viscosity of 8000–12000 cSt at 100 °C, a density of 0.83–0.89 kg/L, and a minimum flash point of 170 °C. Jeevim 253018 is non-hazardous, non-toxic, and can be blended using standard equipment. Due to its high viscosity, heating to about 70 °C is recommended for easy handling and transfer. It is supplied in 175-kg mild steel barrels and should be stored below 50 °C under normal petroleum-additive conditions.

Storage & Handling
Normal storage conditions as applicable to any petroleum additive are advisable for storing Jeevim 253018 Viscosity Improver. Maximum storage temperature should not exceed 50°C. As the product is highly viscous, for transferring the product from barrels, it is recommended to heat it upto 70°C.
Blending
Jeevim 253018 VI Improver can be blended using conventional blending equipments.
Hazard/Toxicity
The product is non hazardous and non toxic. Normal handing precautions as in the case of any petroleum additive is advisable.
